Does the Nova Single bed have a metal slats or do I need to buy the slats separately? Can I just put a mattress on top of the slats if included? Thank you

Hi Lisa! Thanks for your inquiry. The Nova Metal Single Bed 3ft - Silver have metal base slats and you don't have to purchase slats separately as they are included in the price.
