Thankyou for taking interest in our furniture. The Candy Mattress 3ft Low Profile is mainly designed to be used on the top bunks of bunk beds or high sleepers but you can also use this on a standard single bed if thickness of mattress is not an issue. I would recommend you to have a look at the regular Candy Mattress 3ft which can be used for both purposes, i.e standard bed or bunk bed, if there is a support on the sides of top bunk to avoid risk of falling. Let us know if you need further assistance.
